magneto Posted February 12, 2018 Posted February 12, 2018 Expecting Henderson to return as Emre is suspended. Hoping Karius is still between the sticks. Porto unbeaten in the league this season and looking strong. I'd go KariusGomez Matip Van Dijk RobertsonHenderson Milner WijnaldumBobby Mo Mane Our record against them is W2 D2 with the last meeting between the sides in 2007 (4 - 1 at Anfield, Group Stages, 1 - 1 was the first meeting in the group in Portugal).
Rory Fitzgerald Posted February 12, 2018 Posted February 12, 2018 TAA over Gomez and not sure about Milner. Rest looks spot on. I’d be inclined to go AOC.
usualsuspect Posted February 12, 2018 Posted February 12, 2018 Milner to come off the bench if we are leading for me. Ox will come back to form and we need his energy and pace.
Leo No.8 Posted February 12, 2018 Posted February 12, 2018 Reckon Moreno starts thisI think Robertson has nailed that position down, and if he keeps his form Moreno isn’t getting a look in. I’d like to see Moreno as sub for Mane at left wing from time to time - he’s had some nice little cameos coming on there and his pace can be dangerous against tiring defenders. Plus he’s far away from our goal. I never want to see him at left back ever again. It would be a bizarre risk to throw him into this.
cymrococh Posted February 12, 2018 Posted February 12, 2018 (edited) Reckon Moreno starts thisAbsolutely no reason to put us all through this; Robertson is fit, strong and good. Edited February 12, 2018 by cymrococh
honourablegeorge Posted February 12, 2018 Posted February 12, 2018 Is Gomez injured? No but he's been defensively poor lately
McBain Posted February 12, 2018 Posted February 12, 2018 Absolutely no reason to put us all through this; Robertson is fit, strong and good.Lacking European experience though Amjustsayin
Tommok Posted February 12, 2018 Posted February 12, 2018 I've successfully completed the negotiations on taking the gf out for Valentine's Day dinner on Tuesday so as to be free to watch this game. I'm not sure there's anyone else that could have achieved such a successful outcome. If only I could be put in charge of our transfer dealings.
cymrococh Posted February 12, 2018 Posted February 12, 2018 Lacking European experience though AmjustsayinScored goals at international level, performed well against other top sides who are in Europe. Not going to worry about him.
Andy-oh-six Posted February 12, 2018 Posted February 12, 2018 Lacking European experience though AmjustsayinMoreno has loads of experience. He's a shoe in.

Sir Tokyo Sexwale Posted February 12, 2018 Posted February 12, 2018 (edited) Robbo has been really solid, this isn't time to f*** about. Pick your strongest & steadiest side. Re Porto unbeaten in the League; 01-02 was the last time either Porto or Benfica didn't win the Portuguese league, it's not the most competitive - 32 of the last 35 seasons one of the two of them has won it Edited February 12, 2018 by Sir Tokyo Sexwale
Gethin Posted February 12, 2018 Posted February 12, 2018 Valentines is a load of b******s. Aye - we don't ever bother, but annoyingly I thought this game was Tuesday and bought gig tickets for Wednesday. Will get to see the first half though
Sir Tokyo Sexwale Posted February 12, 2018 Posted February 12, 2018 Valentines is a load of b******s. Luckily I have a wife who shares this sentiment. She's in Milan all this week too
Hassony Posted February 12, 2018 Posted February 12, 2018 Most women love valentine's, just because they tell you it's a load of b****x doesn't really mean that they wouldn't love to be treated with gifts/flowers/dinner on the day
Swipe Posted February 12, 2018 Posted February 12, 2018 I've convinced my wife to do summat for valentines at the weekend. I told her when the draw was made we couldn't go out that night. Cos I'm a bloody bloke.
kop205 Posted February 12, 2018 Posted February 12, 2018 Surely that Aldi advert which is saying how cheaply you can get steak, prosecco and roses mean that nobody in their right mind is buying them. Not that it shows much imagination anyway, like.
McBain Posted February 12, 2018 Posted February 12, 2018 The wife still hasn't bought my Christmas present she ain't getting a Valentine's gift
