Gethin Posted January 29, 2018 Posted January 29, 2018 Need a result here big time. Saturday means we need to go more full strength than we might have, fortunately Spurs are in the same boat as they play Man U on Wednesday night Tuesday obviously. Any chance a mod can edit the title
McBain Posted January 29, 2018 Posted January 29, 2018 Bring in Karius, Gomez, Robertson, Lovren ( ) and Henderson

Cam Posted January 29, 2018 Posted January 29, 2018 I'd like to see TAA in midfield at some stage Think Ox has been very poor in the last two gamesAgree with that but I'd like to see TAA coming on in to midfield from the bench (and in a winning position).
Sir Tokyo Sexwale Posted January 29, 2018 Posted January 29, 2018 Virgil was right - going into Swansea, the ManC result is meaningless if we don't produce. After Swansea it's about 'how we react'. We saw that. I expect tough going vs Huddersfield before the ponces decide to blow Spurs away & we're a great team again
rednotdead Posted January 29, 2018 Posted January 29, 2018 JK on form: We can't afford anymore bad games. 100%. They were really harsh defeats for us. We have to show what we can do again. We can learn from the defeats. We need to get back on track tomorrow night But we never do
McBain Posted January 29, 2018 Posted January 29, 2018 But we never do 4 defeats in what, about 35 games shows we don't have to react often As it stands it's just a couple of bad results, but If we drop points in this, it's officially a slump.
Hassony Posted January 29, 2018 Posted January 29, 2018 But we never doThat's not true though, we do learn from defeats (as proven by going 18 matches unbeaten after spurs), we tend to slip back into bad habits every once in a while
muleskinner Posted January 29, 2018 Posted January 29, 2018 But we never dolost to Spurs then went on a 19 game unbeaten run. 1 home defeat in 11 months.
rednotdead Posted January 29, 2018 Posted January 29, 2018 That's not true though, we do learn from defeats (as proven by going 18 matches unbeaten after spurs), we tend to slip back into bad habits every once in a whileWe never learn to defend. Even in that run we conceded three goals in a match on three occasions. Was going to bite us in the a*** again eventually.
uppsala Posted January 29, 2018 Posted January 29, 2018 A must win Nothe like the other games This one is a must win Didn't need to beat Swansea
Nebraska Red Posted January 29, 2018 Posted January 29, 2018 WardGomez VVD Klavan RobertsonMané Henderson Can Salah Firmino SolankeNo place for VAR! That's harsh after a stellar showing at the weekend.
Nebraska Red Posted January 29, 2018 Posted January 29, 2018 Lallana and Klavan outFSG out or injured out?
RP Posted January 29, 2018 Posted January 29, 2018 How old did you say you were in that thread earlier?
Nebraska Red Posted January 29, 2018 Posted January 29, 2018 How old did you say you were in that thread earlier?Too old, bored and in pain.
Florist Cinema Pond Goal Posted January 29, 2018 Posted January 29, 2018 I’d get Woodburn closer to the side, don’t think he’d be any worse than Oxlade/Wijnaldum against WBA.
Red Yoda Posted January 29, 2018 Posted January 29, 2018 Karius GomezLovrenVvDRobertson OxHendersonMilner SalahFirminoMane
Case Posted January 29, 2018 Posted January 29, 2018 The team is less important than width, pace, patience.
AnfieldWestGaffer Posted January 30, 2018 Posted January 30, 2018 With Spurs coming up I expect to see one or more of the front three rested for this one. Don't like, but I expect it...
Molby Posted January 30, 2018 Posted January 30, 2018 All we have to do is win tonight, wait for Spurs to get beat by the Mancs and then we can stroll to a draw on Sunday After then, 4th place will be there for the taking
