Dan Posted December 28, 2017 Posted December 28, 2017 Tricky tie this. I’d go as strong as possible. Reckon Karius starts.
Tommy Cockles Posted December 28, 2017 Posted December 28, 2017 Play VvD & be damned with the regulations.
Rory Fitzgerald Posted December 28, 2017 Posted December 28, 2017 Play VvD & be damned with the regulations. I'm as dead excited as the next man over VvD and have little regard for rules on this occasion but it would be prudent to put at least a few more players on the pitch to give him a hand out.
Rory Fitzgerald Posted December 29, 2017 Posted December 29, 2017 Last 3 matches above with Watford 2-1 defeat away being the most recent.Right Back: Danny Simpson has started every PL game but is out with injury, in the last game, Aleksandar Dragovic (16) started his first game for Leicester in the league.Left Back: Fuchs (28) has played more minutes but Chilwell (3) has had the jersey recently, whoever he picks is likely against SalahCenter Backs: Wes Morgan (5) and Harry Maguire (15)Center Mids: King (10) came in for the last game to replace Iborra (21). I think he'll be back with Ndidi (25)RW: Mahrez (26) on the right probably taking care of Dragovic and up against Robertson and Klavan on that side. Cutting in on his left foot might make Milner an optionLW: Albrighton (11) will likely play and support Chilwell against Salah. CF: Vardy (9) and one of either Okazaki (20) or Gray (7). They've had 10 and 9 starts respectively with Okazaki playing the recent game but Gray playing against Palace and Utd before that. If its Dragovic (LB) and Morgan (LCB) being covered by Mahrez I'd like to see Coutinho deeper with Mane at LW.On our right against Gray and Albrighton running those channels I think I'd go with AOC (RCM) and TAA (RB) given their pace. Hopefully Matip is available. I'd go; Karius TAA Matip Lovren Robertson AOC Can Countinho Salah Firmino Mane Subs: Mignolet, Gomez, Klavan, Milner, Wijnaldum, Lallana, Solanke
Jiggy Hates Jazz Posted December 29, 2017 Posted December 29, 2017 I hope Degsy's head doesnt go It will. He's mentally weak
Sir Tokyo Sexwale Posted December 29, 2017 Posted December 29, 2017 f***ing hell - Saturday, Monday, Friday. That's taking the piss
Hightown Phil Posted December 29, 2017 Posted December 29, 2017 f***ing hell - Saturday, Monday, Friday. That's taking the piss In our advantage though really. The other teams we're playing aren't doing anything different and we're better than all of them.
psl Posted December 29, 2017 Posted December 29, 2017 I don't get why Spurs don't play for ages and then play Tuesday and Thursday.
Hightown Phil Posted December 29, 2017 Posted December 29, 2017 I don't get why Spurs don't play for ages and then play Tuesday and Thursday. We’re supposed to play NYE but Wembley wasn’t allowed to be used.
RP Posted December 29, 2017 Posted December 29, 2017 Spurs were due to play West Ham on New Years Eve - moved to 4-Jan for ssfety reasons. The 'authorities' would only give a licence for a maximum of 43,000 for the game (at Wembley).
Ombudsam Posted December 29, 2017 Posted December 29, 2017 In our advantage though really. The other teams we're playing aren't doing anything different and we're better than all of them. Yeah. We’ve got way more resources so if we’re stretched and the others are stretched then adv Liverpool
Hightown Phil Posted December 29, 2017 Posted December 29, 2017 Yeah. We’ve got way more resources so if we’re stretched and the others are stretched then adv LiverpoolReckon if you handpick when Burnley is it’s when we play them.
Ombudsam Posted December 29, 2017 Posted December 29, 2017 Reckon if you handpick when Burnley is it’s when we play them.Agreed. It’s their organisation and energy and willingness to turn everything into a scrap that could do for us but they’ll have to be at their most tired mentally and physically.
psl Posted December 29, 2017 Posted December 29, 2017 We’re supposed to play NYE but Wembley wasn’t allowed to be used.Ah I see. Cheers.
downunder Posted December 29, 2017 Posted December 29, 2017 Spurs were due to play West Ham on New Years Eve - moved to 4-Jan for ssfety reasons. The 'authorities' would only give a licence for a maximum of 43,000 for the game (at Wembley). Was it the same for all games? Would Emirates or The London Stadium had same restrictions?
Metro Posted December 30, 2017 Posted December 30, 2017 Salah, Mane and Firmino to start I reckon.Salah rested.I don't get why Spurs don't play for ages and then play Tuesday and Thursday.Plus the following Sunday.....
RP Posted December 30, 2017 Posted December 30, 2017 Was it the same for all games? Would Emirates or The London Stadium had same restrictions? If the hypothetical fixture was deemed similarly high risk, then I guess there would have been some restrictions. I doubt Arsenal v Spurs would have been given the green light, for example. Or West Ham v Chelsea.
psl Posted December 30, 2017 Posted December 30, 2017 Salah restedNot sure. He took him off early v Swansea.
The_Adder Posted December 30, 2017 Posted December 30, 2017 Fab 4 and Lovren starting over vam Dijk is the rumour.
LicK Posted December 30, 2017 Posted December 30, 2017 Fab 4 and Lovren starting over vam Dijk is the rumour.Being pedantic, we'd be silly to play Van Dijk before Jan 1st.
Murphman Posted December 30, 2017 Posted December 30, 2017 Being pedantic, we'd be silly to play Van Dijk before Jan 1st. Southampton would probably complain to the FA, the touchy c*nts.
stonty Posted December 30, 2017 Posted December 30, 2017 Give them Lovren and Clyne as peace offerings
