Doesn't look like I'll be able to pick up a ticket for this, but looking to meet up with a few of the old faces and have a few beers before the game.

Who's around for it and where are you going for a beer?

(And keep me in mind if anyone hears of a spare please!)

Really getting a bad feeling on this one - never works out well when our defenders start with the self-praise

Mignolet told Liverpoolfc.com: "It’s been a long time since we conceded a goal from open play - against Chelsea at the very end of the gam

"We’re defending really well at the moment, we’ve been solid.
Ever since the Tottenham game we had to change something because we were not happy with how we performed at Wembley," he added.
...

"We make sure that we don’t give any counter-attacks away and don’t give the opponent a chance to score any goals. So far that has been working very well and we have to keep doing that."

Liverpool will head for the Emirates on Friday night on the back of successive league clean sheets and Klavan says some important tactical tweaks by the manager have done the trick.

“After the defeat at Tottenham we made some changes,” Klavan said.

“Of course in football that kind of day can happen when things don’t work out. The main thing is that you have to learn from it and keep moving forward. It doesn’t stop there.

“We looked at things in training and we knew that as a whole team it was a challenge to address. We accepted that, kept on working and moved on.

“The changes we made were not major corrections but it was clear that we needed a little bit more stability in defence so in that kind of way it changed a little.

Why do players open their mouths and say this stuff? It’s just going to come back to bite you on the a*** at the earliest opportunity.

Wasn't Moreno's melt down (Sevilla) immediately after going on patting himself on the back for doing well to turn things around?

Trying to think if Lovren said anything before the Spurs game.

On a side note - anyone noticed the Offal's pre-match pictures this week?

It's like someone's had a word with the photographer, (or the editor). No smiles this week, no fooling around, everyone deadly serious.

Don't mind it like, just a not so subtle change in direction by the Offal team perhaps:)

It's always the friggin offal asking them as well.

Just interview Klopp, nobody gives a s*** what mignolet thinks about the price of fish.

Something about a good/bad catch

I think if Arsenal play like they did against Man Utd from an attacking pov then we could be in trouble. If not for De Gea they'd have had five

Er, hello. Mignolet!

That won't happen. And for one Henderson is better in that position than Can.

Disagree with that. This Hendo isn't mobile enough to cope with this Arsenal team and i suspect Can will be far to powerful Arsenal's midfield.

I'm hoping we keep Phil in attack rather than midfield as well.

Not this seasons version,

In our most high profile away games he's struggled get a tackle or interception in and been dribbled past at an alarmingly frequent rate

Hmm ok we will have to agree to disagree.

Not seen enough of Can to say he can play that role.

But we can both agree we need to improve in that number 6 position.
