I'm worried about their yard dogs and yard dog manager targeting our fancy dans

Likely to be a few cards, maybe Rooney sent off as an early Christmas present. Who is the ref?

Can is a booking away from a suspension. No harm him getting it out of the way with WBA home next week. Two after that are aways at Bournemouth and Arsenal.

Straight red in this for dangerous play misses Arsenal.

These are defending about 10 yards deeper than they have been. Which suits their slow yard dogs like Williams. Suspect it'll be a much tighter game than common consensus believes. Will be amazed if one of ours doesn't get a proper clattering.

Unless Phil pings one in from outside the area early on and f***s their game plan

Worth noting our last 2 games we've scored from a corner and a pen to open the scoring. It's never as easy as it can feel afterwards.

Be surprised if we start with a goal from a corner this time

He's going to have them come and kick lumps out of us.

What’s new? They always start by trying to play then realise they can’t and revert to type...usually 10mins in.

The Blues really think that Big Sam is their savior:

(I went on the Echo site so you didn't have to - I think the page is still loading somewhere)
Kevin Ratcliffe:
"And even though Liverpool’s recent goalscoring record sounds like some kind of rugby formation - three, five, seven - I don’t think we’ll be seeing another rugby score on Sunday.

In fact I wouldn’t be surprised if both teams might be happy to take a draw right now.
Liverpool fans will obviously disagree - but I think things have changed a little bit on the Merseyside horizon since Big Sam has come in.
It’s amazing that some people didn’t want him in at Everton.
...
I’ve played against him and known him from when I was a manager - and he’s a winner [never won a trophy - the new Moyes]

He's also a revolutionary thinker according to Ratcliffe aided by completely botching their UEL group Everton:
"I think it was a great idea of Sam’s to spend time several days with the players he is going to use on Sunday, rather than travelling out to Cyprus to watch what was effectively a shadow squad.
I like that thinking.
He will have had an extra couple of days to work on set pieces, shapes, defensive set ups - and that could be decisive on Sunday.
It was a good idea and one of the reasons why he’s been in the game for so long."

why on earth would the Liverpool team take a draw right now if it were offered to them?

Because Everton are in "title winning form" (G Crooks)

Cue post match Sunday, Ratcliffe complaining not enough time to work on formations, discipline etc and just wait for the next time.

Deluded pricks the lot of them.
