Not that it's the first thing we look at BUT - prize money this year...in Euro

 

2m for winning the playoff (3m for those that lose)

12.7m for competing in the group stage

0.5m for a draw

1.5m for a win

6m for reaching last 16

 

So far then that's 26.7m Euro guaranteed. Plus all the other stuff like gate receipts etc. Mind we've probably paid out about 30m in goal bonuses 

 

After that 6.5m for QF, 7.5m for SF, 11 for finalists & 15.5 to win 

 

 

And that's without 'market pool' money - last year Real earned 35.3m & Juve 50.6m from Market Pool.

 

Bottom line - this year we've probably paid for Mo Salah with our European Cup run already
