Cobs Posted December 6, 2017 Posted December 6, 2017 Group winners get the 2nd leg at home - is that the seeding/rule/advantage?
jimbolala Posted December 6, 2017 Posted December 6, 2017 Would love Real Madrid. Slap them f***ers down again seeing as we give them a bye under Rodgers, remind them and the rest of Europe who we are.

Swipe Posted December 6, 2017 Posted December 6, 2017 Group winners get the 2nd leg at home - is that the seeding/rule/advantage?Mentioned that in the match thread. Not sure I knew that was a thing. If I did, it fell out of my head until it was mentioned tonight.
Nebraska Red Posted December 6, 2017 Posted December 6, 2017 (edited) So, we go away first leg, defend like demons and... Like we could ever do that Edited December 6, 2017 by Nebraska Red
KBR Posted December 7, 2017 Posted December 7, 2017 Basel or Porto would be the favorable draw... but you just know we'll end up with Juve.
Stevie H Posted December 7, 2017 Posted December 7, 2017 So, we go away first leg, defend like demons and... Like we could ever do that this team goes away first leg and scores two away goals.
New York Red Posted December 7, 2017 Posted December 7, 2017 (edited) Basel or Porto would be the favorable draw... but you just know we'll end up with Juve. We can beat Juve. No worries. Real scares me. If we get PSG it will be 13-11 on aggregate. Edited December 7, 2017 by New York Red
RP Posted December 7, 2017 Posted December 7, 2017 Would love Real Madrid. Slap them f*****s down again seeing as we give them a bye under Rodgers, remind them and the rest of Europe who we are. Haha.

Gunga Din Posted December 7, 2017 Posted December 7, 2017 I'd like Bayern. a Munich away would be boss, and we havent played them at Anfield since 81
dorgie Posted December 7, 2017 Posted December 7, 2017 I'd like Bayern. a Munich away would be boss, and we havent played them at Anfield since 81 Howard Gayle will be hoping for that too. A timely boost for his book sales.
Sir Tokyo Sexwale Posted December 7, 2017 Author Posted December 7, 2017 (edited) It's obvious what (some) of the draw will be - Mancs - RealChelsea - Barca LFC - Juve just to stir it all up Edited December 7, 2017 by Sir Tokyo Sexwale
Sir Tokyo Sexwale Posted December 7, 2017 Author Posted December 7, 2017 Not that it's the first thing we look at BUT - prize money this year...in Euro 2m for winning the playoff (3m for those that lose)12.7m for competing in the group stage0.5m for a draw1.5m for a win6m for reaching last 16 So far then that's 26.7m Euro guaranteed. Plus all the other stuff like gate receipts etc. Mind we've probably paid out about 30m in goal bonuses After that 6.5m for QF, 7.5m for SF, 11 for finalists & 15.5 to win And that's without 'market pool' money - last year Real earned 35.3m & Juve 50.6m from Market Pool. Bottom line - this year we've probably paid for Mo Salah with our European Cup run already
McBain Posted December 11, 2017 Posted December 11, 2017 Is it an 11am draw, or the uefa dirge session starts at 11, teams picked around 11.40?
Earl Hafler Posted December 11, 2017 Posted December 11, 2017 These presenters always sound like the BT call centre guys...even the online chat ones.
