Don't think it'll be as comfortable as at theirs so play a strong side. If we get 4 or 5 ahead then bring in Solanke, Woodburn etc

 

A win is a must. Can't see Sevilla losing again so the group should be us on 8pts, then either 6,5 (Spartak, Sevilla) or 7, 5 (the other way round). A win + a Sevilla win means that we'd only really need a point at home to Spartak to qualify. But really want to top the group. 

 

That said, there'll be a pretty formidable 2nd placed team in Barca/PSGs group to potentially draw. But that's then & this is now, so let's just win this first

Need to do everything we can to try and get that free week in December sorted when the last group game is.

 

So if we can get Spartak to win as well that wod help.

What happens if we win this and Sevilla win, then we score draw with Moscow and Sevilla win. Would we be in danger of needing a point at Sevilla?

Our game against Sevilla is before our home one with Spartak.

still - let's sort this game first

What happens if we win this and Sevilla win, then we score draw with Moscow and Sevilla win. Would we be in danger of needing a point at Sevilla?

 

to flip that round to fit the fixtures....

 

we win & Sevilla win, it's 8, 7, 5 - with Moscow on 5. Currently our GD is +7, Moscow is +4

 

So at worst - for us assuming the above, we'd be +8 vs +3 meaning yeah, we'd need a point with Sevilla to avoid it coming down to GD assuming a home draw with Moscow

 

Bottom line, we have 2 homes & are on 5pts. 2 home wins & we're though

These are absolutely garbage. Finish them off after 20 minutes then get some of the kids on for the second half.

It's amazing isn't it? I didn't look at the fixture list, and assumed the fix were 1-2-3-3-2-1.

If we beat Maribor and lose to Seville and Spartak do likewise, we might need to beat Spartak to make sure (depending on goal difference etc).

yep - but at least it'll be in our hands on the last game at home.

No it hasn't. It's sold out

Must have had a load shift today as late last night there were loads on the map of the stadium a block of 2 rows in the main stand unsold and clusters of seats all around the ground. Glad it's sold out now though
