Been toying around with some organisational tools, my new role means I am doing a lot more context switching and holding everything in my head is not the answer. I have a pad  where I record stuff today but I end up with it being organised into a timeline rather than by subject. I attend a lot of meetings and have an anti technology stance, that is laptops are often not allowed in as having the lid open creates both a real and artificial buffer for whoever sits behind it. 

 

I am looking at a smart notepad where I can capture meeting notes etc but have them synced to say Evernote seamlessly. I want to avoid using a tablet and stylus at this point, am very old school...

 

Anyone used them / got any recommendations. My research so far has got me Moleskine and Livescribe as viable candidates...
