Sir Tokyo Sexwale Posted September 17, 2017 Posted September 17, 2017 Would probably mix it up a bit - start AOC & Solanke. Also statr Phil for match-fitness. f*** knows what to do with the CBs
The_Adder Posted September 17, 2017 Posted September 17, 2017 (edited) Gomez at CB to see what he can do. Ox in CM to see what he can do. Ward in net. Solanke up top. Be tempted to play Woodburn and Grujic too. Rest couldnt really give a f*** about. Edited September 17, 2017 by The_Adder
Sir Tokyo Sexwale Posted September 17, 2017 Author Posted September 17, 2017 Yeah - Def Woodburn & Grujic While I don't want to lose the game, 3 points away at them again on Sat is more important
Nebraska Red Posted September 17, 2017 Posted September 17, 2017 This game is on ESPN3 in the U.S. or the watchespn app
Lark Posted September 17, 2017 Posted September 17, 2017 i'd probably go for something like this -----------ward--------------gomez matip klaven robertson-------------grujic--------------oxlade---milner----wini---phil/woodburn-----------solanke------------ I fear klopp going for something more youthful as he has in the past against lower league s***e but i don't think Leicester will go too youthful, they might rest vardy, mahrez but still have some decent forwards to contend with. Ianacho, slim, grey. Think we need to put some experienced heads into our side.

Zoob Posted September 18, 2017 Posted September 18, 2017 May as well give Markovic a run out at some point, even if it's just to make sure our first team players stay fresh.

rednotdead Posted September 18, 2017 Posted September 18, 2017 Tough one this in that we need a win to restore some momentum and we could do with being in contention for a trophy next year. Conversely, as last year showed, the two-legged League Cup semi-finals can really f*** up your league form in January, we have a tough run of fixtures coming up in any case. Rest Salah and Firmino and the rest is much of a muchness in any case.

Swipe Posted September 18, 2017 Posted September 18, 2017 Wouldn't be upset to see a strong line-up here. Could do with a win and I'd like to stay in the comps we have more chance of winning.

Coming up we have - 19 - Leicester (A) LC23 - Leicester (A)26 - Moscow (A) EC1st - Newcastle (A) then an international f***ing break
rednotdead Posted September 18, 2017 Posted September 18, 2017 Saw this from Dan Kennett on Twitter earlier, really highlights the double-edged sword that it is the League Cup. After the November international break there are 11 EPL rounds in 44 days between 18th Nov and 1st JanAdd in Europe & League Cup and it's 14 games in 44 days, every 3.1 daysProgress to the League Cup semis and it's 22 games in 77 days between 18th Nov and 2nd Feb. Every 3.5 days.
