Major improvements. TAA looks gold and Gomez provides extra depth. Fact Moreno here shows Klopp has seen enough.

 

Center back:

2017: lovren matip klavan (Lucas)

2018: replaced Lucas with Gomez as 4th choice

 

Still need depth but got 4 bodies.

 

Midfield

 

2017: Lucas can thingy lallana Henderson

2018: Henderson can thingy ox lallana coutinho Milner, grujic

 

Given hendo hardly played and Milner wasn't in this pool last season, that adds great depth. Throw us ox and Phil playing there and the obvious step up in can, we nicely set there.

 

Forward

2017: firmino mane Sturridge coutinho lallana origi

2018: firmino mane Salah Sturridge ings solanke

 

Say it quietly Sturridge looks fit. Solanke looks like he could come in earlier too. Salah is gold and allows coutinho to play deeper.

 

There's a bunch of kids knocking on the door too.

 

We may get lemar in Jan and are getting keita next year. Who will they replace??

 

Central defence needs an extra bod, but 4 should be enough.

 

I reckon one of the strongest squads on paper I can remember. Sturridge, grujic Gomez taa and rehabilitated Moreno provide so much depth at zero cost.
