Edit: You beat me to it Case

City went 3-5-2 for the first 2 games in order to get Aguero and Jesus into the team. However, in the last game at Bournmouth, they dropped Aguero and played with 1 upfront.

The midfield has been unchanged with De Bruyne, Silva and Fernandinho.

Positively, Aguero, Jesus and Fernandinho have all be in South America.

For us.......

Goalkeeper - Mignolet back in ?

Full backs - Gomez could be replaced by TAA and if ever Milner was to be considered for LB this season, perhaps this is the game but Moreno's speed could be an asset if we are countered.

Thereafter, no changes hopefully. Our front 3 will have been in Africa/South America but I'd hope they would all start. Bench could be interesting. I think he'll go with the following 7.

Karius, Gomez, Klavan, Milner, Oxlade-Chamberlin, Guijic Coutinho, Sturridge, Solanke

Dropping the best player on the pitch in our last game for a man who doesn't even want to be at the club would be an odd move

Let him earn his recall

I love your little analyses Rory, keep them up.

Reckon Karius stays in for Mig, TAA in and Moreno stays in the team. Robbo on the bench for Klavan.

Not odd to want to pick your best players

except when they've been acting the t*** for a month

he should earn his recall, through an improved attitude and hard work on the training pitch.

Awful message to send to the squad to just put him straight back in the starting XI regardless

all other things being equal i'm not sure this is the fixture to be starting PC in midfield anyway. The three who started last week all played well, deserve to keep their place and should provide better defensive cover in any case, which has to be a consideration away to City

Moreno might start this.

f*** off Moreno!

A bit boring this now, moreno seems to have worked hard to put himself back into Klopp's thinking, and he has done ok this season overall

Just forget what has happened before and think of him as a new signing

I get what you're saying and I'd be tempted by the purely football argument

But I think you should be pragmatic and try and win the match and I'd throw coutinho in and say to him you owe us a big performance go out there and work your b******s off for this club
