As much potential as Huijsen has. If he signs because Konate is off that would be quite a big downgrade.

We had Konate/Gomez/Matip as no.2’s once. Huijsen will be fine if he joins alongside Ibou. We need to help Virgil out too as well.

Absolutely all good with him coming in to supplement Konate but I'd be surprised if Konate is here next season unless he signs a new contract soon. If he's off, we should be signing someone like Bastoni as his replacement.

Yeah Huijsen should be the Gomez or Quansah replacement.

Konate leaving should mean signing a much more experienced player as well

I'd never heard of him but he certainly knows where the goal is.
