Has everyone written off Quansah completely? Had a bad start and hasn’t played much this season but he looked very promising last year.

nah - there's a player there for sure. I guess some of it is how a particular manager wants to use them / play. He defo looked a lot better with Klopp as manager than Slot but he's also very young

Regardless of outgoings we definitely need another CB. VdV is the only one with reliable fitness so, at best, we’re constantly running out of fit partners to play alongside him. We can’t maintain a situation where around 2 of our 4 are out injured at any one time.

I'd sell Quansah if it meant getting someone genuinely class in, yeah. It's complicated by the fact Gomez is bona fide injury prone, but I don't really see it in him anymore.

But the point above about him looking better under Klopp than Slott is fair. But not sure that's really a style thing. He doesn't look at all ready to properly deputise VVD or Konate atm.

Disagree slightly - he looked very good at both CB and RB this season when he was fit. But he wasn't fit often enough

I think Gomez is better off at RB now than he is as CB, for me he hasn't been good there consistently for a while.

Gomez? The 'don't see it in him anymore' in my post was about Quansah.

I just meant selling Quansah with Gomez being so unreliable makes it tricker. Gomez is much better than Quansah, but, personally, I'd sell them both and get in two good, more robust players.

I think he means he doesn't see it in Quansah but its complicated by Gomez's ongoing injuries.

If we sell Gomez and Quansah we'll need to replace both them, buy a left back, right back, midfielder and at least one forward. Seems like too much to do.

I don't think they'd replace them both tbh. One proper backup, plus one of them would probably be enough in their eyes. 

But more likely they keep one, I'd say.

No, But I think he needs a loan season to get him more used to playing regularly and really learn his stuff.

Yeah I'd like to see Quansah going off for a PL loan and playing every week.
