Firstly, he shouldn't be anywhere near the Telegraph.  That aside, he's all over the shop.  Unless he knows for sure that Salah is staying, then it'll be a right winger, not a left winger we need. Obviously. I'd like two midfielders, but we don't NEED two as much as elsewhere - right back being so obvious.

Yeah there are a few that scream Edwards type signings out there. That French lad supposedly having similar profile to isak screams Edwards to me too.

He’s not talking s***e, upgrades are necessary for sure, but there are (or could be) priorities he’s not mentioned at all.

I actually don’t think he’s hit his ceiling, he’s young and will definitely keep improving under Slot. Have to stress I want him in the squad, no question, it’s more about the type of player he is. He’s a Red Bull product, can run all day and has characteristics built for a transitional game. That serves us great a lot of the time and given his age, I expect him to get better and add more end product. I just feel we need someone to challenge him, someone with characteristics more suited to breaking down deep defences.

And if that mystery player replaces him in the team, I would still expect Szobo to get a lot of game time, given what he gives us off the ball. It just might be in different positions to what we’ve seen so far, or still as the No10 when we need horses for courses against high quality teams we want to counter-press.

Watching the Villa - Forest game and thinking of the Szoboszlai chat, Gibbs-White and Morgan Rogers would both be a belter in that position for us.

Rogers would have the same problem as Dom against sides that sit deep.Hes not the type of player who would offer anything different in that regard, altho he may score more potentially.

I'm not a Dom-sceptic at all, but as some others have said, could see him doing a job in a few different positions. Suppose a lot of it might depend on what we do at number 9, but you can see why Slot might want more goals/ assists from that position if we're set up as we are this season.

Been banging the Gibbs- white drum this whole season. He’d be perfect as an option in the 10
