Yep. Gakpo is great but we ought to be in a place where he is our fourth best attacker.

Same as Jota was when he joined. Him rising to be our second best attacker (which he is no longer now anyway) is less to do with him improving and more to do with us failing to replace Mane and Firmino with players who were actually better than Jota.

We really do need two, because in a year or two we'll be asking the same question for Salah's replacement. Assuming of course he signs are contract. Else we need three top class forwards in one summer.

The more I think of it, and even though I think he’s class, I reckon not getting Zubimendi might have been a blessing. Midfield would have been even slighter. We need a monster in midfield. Grav is great but he’s elegant. As annoying as joelinton is, he’s good and just maraudes about kicking people. We need one.

Rodri will be back next season too.
