We are looking at every single position and we are looking at the team. We didn't do a lot (last summer) because we - Richard, me and all the others - just wanted to know how these players were working with me, the different manager.
"Now we have a very good idea about that. It is clear that we've assessed the squad, we've assessed what we think where we can improve, and that's where we try to go for in the summer. - Slot 

 

Also his thoughts on what he looks in a player

 

"It's all about the quality of course but then what is the quality, what i think is very important for a player is he can change direction fast, work rate and then ability/quality on the ball. If you dont have ability/quality on the ball you can forget playing here at Liverpool but there are also players that have a lot of quality on the ball, but if you can't turn quickly or change directions quickly and you're not able to run a lot then it's gonna be really hard to play at this level"

What a magical formula. Have loads of technical ability and be really athletic and agile.

Clear as day why he doesn’t pick endo Elliott and chiesa

He’s gonna get a rude awakening when he’s trying to recruit about 7 players of high quality with about 35 million isn’t he. 
Endo will start to look a little more like Rodri in the late transfer window light while Darwin with his hair down, and if you squint, starts looking remarkably like Batistuta.
