Nunez is gone and one of Jota and Diaz could go, so may as well get Isak in. Get the two Bournemouth lads in and a new right back to duke it out with Bradley. To recap, that's Matheus Cunha, Morgan Rogers, Alexander Isak, Dean Huijsen, Milos Kerkez plus one other. Easy, this. Hughesy after signing another goalkeeper and a young centre half from Brondby.
Romario Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago The work rate of Diaz and the out that he constantly gives the team is really underestimated by so many I think. He's having a Gakpo out of position season this year but in games like yesterday he was brilliant. 1

We aren't going to extend his contract, but I can see anyone wanting to spend money on him given his injury record and how often he's missing in a season. I'd be fine with him being here until his contract is up anyway, but not someone we should depend on primarily 100%. Can't see us getting big money for him - although arsenal have been linked - and he'd be absolutely fine as a squad option. Just can't be getting a new deal. It's why I think Diaz will go. Let one become more of a squad player, get money for the other to use for someone you fancy down the middle.

We score so many from wide areas we don’t need an out and out goalscorer. Gives me Bobby vibes a little. Yeah, I'm well on the Cunha bus. I think he's exactly what we need as a 9.

Joyce was retweeting some Spanish-language journal last week who was on about Barca still liking Diaz, so something is clearly still bubbling away.
Stanley Leisure Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Would be absoutely fine cashing in on Diaz. 1 3

Murdoch Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago I wish Diaz would get a bit cuter with his 'challenges' for balls in the air. Literally just looks at the player and runs at them 2

Alonso Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago (edited) Whilst jones can cover off Mac/dom we could do with another in there given Elliot isn’t fancied. Then also think we’ll need cover for gravenberch. Edited 3 hours ago by Alonso

honourablegeorge Posted 36 minutes ago Posted 36 minutes ago Nico Williams might be realistic, has a release, especially if Barca want Diaz https://youtu.be/OrPGojXzZjo?si=fWpNnJXFEA0N_I1t
Sir Tokyo Sexwale Posted 28 minutes ago Posted 28 minutes ago I don't think Trent's necessarily a goner. I believe him when he says he doesn't want to be a player who won everything when he was young - think winning the league this season could go a long way to him staying

His defending is a serious drawback. I know his attacking is a real weapon, but it's quite counterbalanced by his defensive frailties.
