Wow. If I could pick any player this summer, Wirtz would be very near the top of that list. A phenomenal player.

Dreaded the thought of him replacing De Bruyne at City so this is a nice surprise. Thought the fee would rule us out.

Don't think there is another league where one club just hoover up everyone else's best players this way, even when there is loads of interest from abroad.

Even without the Klopp aspect, there was something grim about the way Bayern just hollowed out the Dortmund side that had beaten them. Goetze, Hummels, Lewandowski...

Yeah but you don’t need to meet a club for that to be conveyed to you. Particularly if you have to travel for it.

meeting with a player, and the papers reporting we like a player, arent the same however.

Not to say that anything will happen, but you dont go and meet a player and his representatives, if you aren't remotely interested in spending the money. 

That didnt happen with Kvara, it was just reported we liked him, but never did anything other than that

Have Bayern got money to spend on Wirtz? At 150m he's a Chelsea signing. They've spend about 400m a year over the past 3 seasons. Who else is paying that?

I don't think they do, unless they sell a bunch of players. Keeping in mind they just renewed Kimmich,Davies, and I believe Sane as well.
