Can be very good on his day but nowhere near consistent enough for what we need.

I agree. But it is sometimes difficult for forwards to be consistent when playing on s***e teams, Mane was the same at Southampton then was much better with better service when he came here, same with Jota

To be fair, he's their only good forward, so if he's having a bad day, it really stands out. We're used to three up.front, if one misfires or is Darwin the others pick up the slack

Bowen is a better player than he is.

He's kind of gone backwards, should have moved on when he had the chance instead of signing a mental contract. Stuck at West Ham for the rest of his career now, with Danny Dyer as father in law

Best player in their side and getting paid a bomb. He might just enjoy it there.

Mane was still scoring double digits in the league at Soton before he moved here.

Kudus has yet to do that. I agree, Sadio got better and better once he moved here.

It’s healthy if all the players don’t end up at the same clubs though. I understand if players want to do that and clubs want to take money but when it works out otherwise it is no bad thing.

Wasn't trying to compare the output of the two or suggest we sign Kudus - just making the point that it's easier to play more consistently when you're on a team with much better players. The flip side is that being at a big club brings increased pressure to do exactly that - which some players can't cope with.

Yeah, just think he could have done better for himself than a commitment to West Ham United till 2030

Everybody, apart from us, have gone backwards. Oh and Forest, but that won’t last long

They probably won't, its a strong side with a good coach.

They are in alien territory, they've done very well but the fall off is inevitable you would think?

They've got good players and a good coach. It's annoying round here tbh 😄
