We got those three lads for a bit more than Bellingham would have cost. I think getting those three instead was a wise decision. Fair play if others would still have preferred Bellingham.

We offered £115m for Caicedo. That's why I was saying if we could get Bellingham for £115m.

I think I'd rather MacAllister and Bellingham than the 3 we have. Not 100%, though.

We’d have been in trouble with just those two. Bellingham has been invisible almost every time I’ve seen him this season.

Gravenberch and Szoboslai have been invisible plenty too.

MacAlister is fine as a holding player. He does loads of work defensively anyway.

I haven't watched loads of Madrid but he's 11 goals and 10 assists this season.

I'm also happy with how it worked out. As long as we could have also had Mac and Grav I would have taken Bellingham over Dom for the greater output. Would have lost some of the energy though, so balance might not be as good
