But your comparison with the Caicido bid without taking Bellingham's huge wages into account doesn't make sense

We got three players for roughly the price of one lad. Three players who’ve all been good. Not all at the same time and not all to the same level but they’ve all been good. Macca was a slow starter but is brilliant now, and Grav was sensational first half of this season.

this isn’t hard. The above has been better than spending it all on one very talented lad, who hasn’t been amazing this season and seems like a massive b*****d.

But it's not as if we couldn't spend money after buying MacAlister and Szoboslai. If it was true we wouldn't have offered so much for Caicedo.

Yeah maybe. I’m just talking in linear terms of the actual outlay. Those three for roughly the same as him was better. If we’d signed him early on in the summer I don’t think they’d have signed the other two. I think caicedo was one of their special cases.

I’m boring now on this - when am I NOT boring on anything, ffs shut up you - but it will be a cataclysmic difference when we’ve a proper 9 and maybe even a new speedy winger.

Left back such an issue this season. Robbo we know about, and Tsmikas is just a bit crap really. Likeable as he is.

Someone who can take a corner would be nice too.

Think Tsimikas has been better defensively than Robbo the majority of the time. For some reason the later just adds panic to his play now.

Yeah he has. I just think he’s fairly average overall.
