Needs to be more of a Bobby doesn’t it? Like Isak is class but not sure Slot wants a pure 9 anymore than Klopp did (and he’ll cost an absolute bomb). 

Pedro at Brighton looks like the one to me.

It depends on whether or not Mo is here. Slot's #9s at Feyenoord were traditional in the way they played, and not what we are currently seeing in our set up. I've mentioned this before as have others, our 9's are not getting a lot of chances created for them, Mo is essentially our #9 out wide, and there is a lot of work done by others to minimize what he needs to do defensively, and maximize his strengths. 

Both Klopp and Slot have adjusted to what they are working with. Klopp never had a Bobby at Dortmund, his #9s were Lewa and Lucas Barrios before him, they weren't remotely similar to Bobby. Klopp also had a set formation where either Kagawa or Goetze were a big part of their creativity as their #10s. 

Klopp adjusted to what we had, especially once we signed Sadio and Mo. 

Whoever we sign as a 9, if Mo is still here, will have to put in a lot of work off the ball. Darwin and Jota are certainly doing that part, but Darwin's game has fallen off [even though he wasn't significantly at a top level prior but he was getting or creating 4/5 chances a game last season and he's worse off this season in front of goal.] Jota can't be relied upon due to his injuries, he's also a streaky scorer to begin with.

Wirtz is about the only one who is a top level player with the ability to play in various positions in the final third, but that's never happening..

Never heard of the former, the latter is a person who tweets about Liverpool and seems like a good egg. No idea on the veracity of his information, but he isn't a twitter-ITK type.
