I can’t be having any plan relying on Jota, even as a back up. He’s done my head in.

I think it would work well with Dom but like I said I think it leaves us short of overall depth and some quality. I really think we need another outstanding attacker. I don’t really care what form they take. I prefer pace but let see the quality of the lad before I write off someone who isn’t a greyhound. If we have someone else outstanding then it helps if Mo actually ever succumbs to biology which is going to happen at some point soon

I think we all probably need to hold off and see what else pans out this summer. Given the talk of Diaz possibly being off, pretty sure that the club will have signings lined up that we don't know about yet which will make this make a bit more sense.

Two years left. Hopefully he stays at Leverkusen if we can’t agree a fee. Would hate it if City suddenly stumped up.

Liverpool are right to try to get as good a deal as possible on this one. The player has literally rejected every other team cos he just wants us. Leverkusen are tough and brilliant negotiators. It must be down to the smallest details now.
