Yeah, was proper weird, that. Massive bid accepted but it was like we'd never bothered to check with the player if he was interested which I would assume would/should normally be the starting point in most transfer deals..

My wife's uncle's surname was Kerkhof. He changed his name after that world cup to Van Der Kerhof. He was also a Div.1 level ref and was the b*****d in the black at quite a lot of high profile matches.
