I'm not going to go mad about it, it's my decision so I'm going to miss out on news. It wasn't a criticism or request of anyone posting links, more a technical question.

Same here - on all counts

I think we missed a golden opportunity to sign Kravatshkelia. If PSG and us were the only serious contenders, and Madrid/Barca/Bayern etc weren't sniffing around, we should've been in there with a heavyweight package to change his mind

f*** off FSG/Hughes

He's quality. Shame he's in a s*** league.

I think all their midfielders looking better than all of ours, bar MacAllister maybe, shows it was nonsense there was only one player who could do something for us there.

Absolutely

Neves was superb again. Vitinha excellent.

Kvaratskhelia barely had a kick last night I thought. And he looks like a proper scruffy dweeb.

But yeah, annoying if we were ever in for him. That's the level of forward we need to be bringing in.

Kvaratskhelia looks like a supporting character in a Charles Dickens film. I imagine that he has a Dick Van Dyke style cockney access.

Yup. Looks like a bin man from a Ken Loach film.

He's looked really good at football though whenever I've seen him (full disclosure - that's just the few times he's played against us in the last two or three years)..

Kvara is absolute quality, and I bet PSG's uptick in performance, results and belief coincides with his signing.

He's exactly the standard of signing we need at least 2 of over the summer

statwise it looks like they won 9 in a row before he started joining in their fun

Think Dembele being in the form of his career is what propelled them to this position, plus Kvara signing. Once they stopped playing ramos as a 9, things changed for them for the better

The stuff about contracts just keeps on going, it's getting increasingly difficult to put it to one side (for me).

I'm expecting Mo and Virgil to stay but the longer it drags on...

I'll be ecstatic if we win the league but it will be short lived if its followed by confirming the departures of Mo and Virgil.

actually they said something on comms last nigt about Enrique dropping Dembele when he was pissing about - showing them who's boss etc etc was the catalyst for their season coming together from their ropey early season form

they certainly look a threat to anyone right now

I'm not confident any of them will stay, but I'll be damned if I don't enjoy the league title fully because of that. Life is too short

He started brightly and played well in Paris but I think we marshalled him well, Trent in particular. Looks like he has a good engine on him as well. Really surprised/not surprised we weren't in for him more seriously.

Yep, was really impressed by his work rate and technical ability. He was nowhere near as effective as the first leg, but as you said, I think that's because we dealt with him better.

Wonder if city will follow the same blueprint now. PSG just got the best young players in on mad money. Doey for example cost £50m as a 17 year old from Renne!
