Not sure about this. I don't see what he adds to the squad other than being an alternative to one of our current midfield 3. I hope I'm proved wrong, but he's not the WOW factor player I was hoping for. That's a big fee for a squad player who's not likely to be starting every game.

He's more explosive and pacey than any of our current options in the midfield three.

Maybe, but we have the pace and explosiveness ahead of the midfield with Salah , Mane and Firmino. Maybe Klopp sees him as a possible alternative up front in certain games. He played up front for Arsenal a number of times.
