I can't help but feel his role at BT is going to end up causing problems at some stage. He's a current club employee and they're asking him to give forthright opinions on our transfer failings, whether Coutinho should stay etc.

 

It's one thing for ex-players like Carra or McManaman to criticise the club or the current manager but I'd be afraid Gerrard's role at BT will end up causing a conflict of interest with his coaching position.

I find it bizarre that this hasn't been addressed already. Can't really go on, unless he stops commenting on anything to do with us, which would also be kind of odd.
