Given we are short on creative midfielders and considering that our defence is playing with new fullbacks essentially, I was wondering if we can do something different.

 

Putting Henderson and Milner at the base of midfield ?

 

2 captains, 2 responsible lads with energy, Henderson covers right (TAA) and Milner covers left (Moreno) if either full back gets caught forward. Give Wijnaldum the role in the hole and keep the same front trio. Its not "us" but with injuries, a key away game, the onus not on us to force the game and a first-leg, maybe there is merit in having some leaders in front of the back 4

Valid question - only a few people know the answer. 

 

I think with Salah and Mane we have the tools for counter-attacks to exploit space they leave, just a matter of how we manage the game.
