PaulMcC186 Posted January 22 Posted January 22 I don't think there's any chance he's world class if you judge world class on something like would he start for every team, or top 3 in his position in the world. He rotates with Gakpo for us. He's class on his day.
Gethin Posted January 22 Posted January 22 Exactly, Diaz is a very good player but he isn't - and has never been - world class.

Sir Tokyo Sexwale Posted Saturday at 19:06 Posted Saturday at 19:06 1 behind Lampard in all-time PL scorers now 8 behind Aguero in 5th 11 behind Andy Cole in 4th 3
Gethin Posted Saturday at 19:23 Posted Saturday at 19:23 Needs 8 to overtake Gordon Hodgson as our 3rd all time goalscorer too 1

Chewie Posted Saturday at 22:05 Posted Saturday at 22:05 After 8 full seasons Rush had 244 In this, his 8th full season, Mo has 234 We have 15 more games in the league and a max of 16 games in all 3 cups. Basically, the only difference between Rush and Mo will be longevity at the club. It's astonishing what he's doing 5 1 8

smithdown Posted Sunday at 00:11 Posted Sunday at 00:11 (edited) Never seen a goal like that today. Without it ever looking like it would deffo reach him, he’s reacted with a single hip swivelling movement like a dance step to control it with his right, giving it a little bit of subtle backspin and then blamming through it with his left. Shaolin Soccer goal. Bravo. Edited Sunday at 00:11 by smithdown 1

downunder Posted Sunday at 02:30 Posted Sunday at 02:30 I also wonder minutes played, Rush was 'badly' injured once, 1984ish with a cartilage injury and missed a couple of months. And with bigger squads, and more subs, it would be interesting (to me) to compare.

Shaolin Soccer goal. Bravo. it was literally magic. I - and I think half the ground - thought he'd hit the side netting. And even when I realized it was a goal I was too stunned to celebrate - my immediate thought was "how did he do that?"

And then no way!
Ed the Wool Posted Sunday at 05:39 Posted Sunday at 05:39 Ridiculous finish that, don’t think I’ve ever seen anything like it!
smithdown Posted Sunday at 11:04 Posted Sunday at 11:04 MOTD just said ‘from a tight angle’ Ok. If that was Lineker or Shearer it would have hit thejr knee and gone out for a goal kick and they’d have said ‘awwww he saw it too late’

A source explained in private statements to Masrawy on Sunday that Liverpool offered to renew its contract with a lower salary in return for the contract for two or three seasons. According to previous press reports, Liverpool FC officials were sticking to renewing the one-year contract with the player as part of their policy of renewing the contract with players over the age of 30. The same source indicated that the offer was not accepted by Mohamed Salah, waiting for the arrival of a new offer. Mohamed Salah's contract with Liverpool expires at the end of this season 2024/25; he can sign any club during the current period without referring to the Reds officials. The current season is witnessing a glow for the Egyptian player; as he played 32 matches in the Liverpool shirt in various competitions during which he scored 32 goals in addition to making 15 goals in various competitions. 1
