Kicking them out mid season possibly too complicated to navigate. 6 more weeks won't hurt.

If they’d done it in the international break, the inevitable appeal might have been done and dusted by the summer. As it is that’ll now probably rumble on into next season

Doesn’t scream acquittal though, does it?

in fact - if you’re gonna relegate them, end of the season seems like the best time to do it

Yep have little faith anything meaningful will happen now. Can see them taking a bigger fine which won’t bother them at all.

No and I don't think there is any way there is out and out acquittal though I've not much faith that the punishment will be what it ought to be

African journalist - Rahman Osman(?) - on Talksport just now enthusiastically schooling Winter and Custis about how great (and underappreciated in England) Salah is and has been, and how huge Liverpool are in Africa now.

They've not even been particularly negative themselves (Talksport has been prone to the usual clickbait bad takes before now) but did set the interview up as questioning whether Egyptian fans felt as positive as LFC fans about him signing - and boy, did he put them right. Absolutely brilliant, ended with Custis berating Winter for not voting for Salah as Balon D'Or winner yet. Worth finding it online for a listen.

I thought Henry Winter was dead for some reason.

I guess he might be if he goes to Egypt any time soon

Winter looks like the type whose relatives would have been over there knicking all the stuff a century ago

" Winter's older brother is Islamic scholar Timothy Winter. He is a trustee of the African social enterprise Alive & Kicking, which manufactures footballs in Kenya and Zambia "

So his older brother is smarter than him.

Henry....we see you.

I think like me you’ve mixed him up with Patrick Barclay.

I’ve just looked him up. They properly have the same face.
