Dan Posted May 8, 2017 Posted May 8, 2017 (edited) Another bogey team. Spurs game aside they've been s**** but they can still turn it on when they want to. I'd go: MignoletClyneMatipLovrenMilnerCanWijnaldumLallanaCoutinhoSturridgeFirmino A draw would be ok but ffs let's win please. Edited May 8, 2017 by Dan
Cobs Posted May 8, 2017 Posted May 8, 2017 same team as that apart from I'd give TAA a go over Clyne too
McBain Posted May 8, 2017 Posted May 8, 2017 same team as that apart from I'd give TAA a go over Clyne tooPlay them, play them both Drop Milner. He looks shot.
Dan Posted May 8, 2017 Author Posted May 8, 2017 same team as that apart from I'd give TAA a go over Clyne too Yeah I'd be more than happy with that. Don't see him doing it though. There's a case for TAA in the front three as well if he doesn't trust Sturridge.
cymrococh Posted May 8, 2017 Posted May 8, 2017 Yeah I'd be more than happy with that. Don't see him doing it though. There's a case for TAA in the front three as well if he doesn't trust Sturridge.I don't really understand the way Klopp has dealt with TAA, he brought him on against Everton and he impressed yet he hasn't had a sniff since. The most glaring example being Bournemouth just after the Everton match when he brought Matip on for Coutinho, necessitating a re-shuffle of the whole team, rather than giving Trent another go.
Barnesy_10 Posted May 8, 2017 Posted May 8, 2017 TAA started against United away too didn't he? He looks a cracking prospect and comes across well in articles.

Yeah it's a bit mad. Can only think Klopp is putting his faith in experience to dog it and get us over the line. High risk though as both full backs are clearly running on empty and low on confidence.

If they get 6 points then this is a must win as their last two are at home to Sunderland and Everton. Alternatively, if Arsenal get 3 points or less we could have it sewn up by 630pm on Sunday if we win and Utd lose. Edited May 8, 2017 by Sion
Cam Posted May 8, 2017 Posted May 8, 2017 Arsenal play twice before this game. If they get 6 points then this is a must win as their last two are at home to Sunderland and Everton. Can you imagine the XI that Everton will put out if it all goes down to the final game? Southall, Hibbert...
fred milne Posted May 8, 2017 Posted May 8, 2017 I'd go with the same team as yesterday but Lallana in for Lucas. Sturridge to come on at half time if Origi doesn't up his game from recent displays.

Any team with Firmino out wide is a massive no. Origi has been useless. Gotta get Lallana in there and maybe Sturridge too with a change of the 4-3-3 formation, which is rubbish without Mane's pace.
The_Adder Posted May 10, 2017 Posted May 10, 2017 0-0 written all over itThat wont be enough to get us 4th.
muleskinner Posted May 10, 2017 Posted May 10, 2017 We'll beat them in fairly straightforward fashion
Tobes Rafa Posted May 10, 2017 Posted May 10, 2017 We'll beat them in fairly straightforward fashionDoes that ever happen?
Farmer's Tan Posted May 11, 2017 Posted May 11, 2017 With the way we are playing atm i'm not expecting a win. It reminds me of when Moyse dragged Everton into 4th in 05, just getting them over the line. We need Klopp to get us over the line somehow, a stroke of luck or two wouldn't go a miss, maybe a goal from a center back at a corner, anything just to get that 3 points.
Cam Posted May 11, 2017 Posted May 11, 2017 maybe a goal from a center back at a cornerPretty sure we've got something in our Premier League terms & conditions which says we're not allowed to do that.
Falconhoof Posted May 11, 2017 Posted May 11, 2017 surprisingly we are about 5th in the list of teams for goals scored from corners this season. I read that we have 6.

muleskinner Posted May 11, 2017 Posted May 11, 2017 assuming Lallana will start this oneHopefully. On an Instagram video yesterday he looked to be limping tho.
Dan Posted May 11, 2017 Author Posted May 11, 2017 (edited) I reckon we'll be unchanged. We've won at Stoke, West Brom and Watford with this set up. Edited May 11, 2017 by Dan
