Conrad Posted February 2, 2017 Posted February 2, 2017 (edited) Right, we are winning ths one.I have a 100% record in league match threadsPlus, we've had an extra 24 hours rest over Hull And - they are bottom And - we can possibly play our strongest XI for the first time in about 3 months. Not many games to juggle now. Every one a cup final... MignoletClyne-Lovren-Matip-MilnerWijnaldum-Henderson-LallanaCoutinho-Firmino-Mane Edited February 2, 2017 by Conrad
oakie bob Posted February 2, 2017 Posted February 2, 2017 And - they are bottom if you dont count Sunderland below them, then yes.
muleskinner Posted February 2, 2017 Posted February 2, 2017 It won't be an easy game, the new fella looks to have them well organised at least. And we've got a s*** record over there.
Barnesy_10 Posted February 2, 2017 Posted February 2, 2017 Jakupovic had a great game in goal last night up against quite a few chances. Hopefully we won't be limited and manage to really test him
McBain Posted February 2, 2017 Posted February 2, 2017 (edited) This isn't a good time to play us, in the sense we may well have our first 11 out. But it isn't the best time to play them either they're not quite as s*** as before Same as with Swansea. We couldn't cope with them no longer being terrible. I hope we can deal with a Hull side who are no longer terrible Edited February 2, 2017 by McBain
Swipe Posted February 2, 2017 Posted February 2, 2017 It won't be an easy game, the new fella looks to have them well organised at least. And we've got a s*** record over there. Yeah he does. This game is on Sky in Ireland for anyone who resides on this glorious island.
Case Posted February 2, 2017 Posted February 2, 2017 They got good practice defending deep against the slow ponderous Utd last night. Little pace and only one player, wide right, with real pace. Sounds familiar. That said, we're miles better than that shower of s***e.
Molby Posted February 2, 2017 Posted February 2, 2017 their new manager is a genius and we should be planning for the day he takes over from Klopp in 10 years time
doug_mac Posted February 2, 2017 Posted February 2, 2017 Yeah he does. This game is on Sky in Ireland for anyone who resides on this glorious island.
Cam Posted February 2, 2017 Posted February 2, 2017 I have a 100% record in league match threadsI'd take a draw now.
Conrad Posted February 3, 2017 Author Posted February 3, 2017 depends on knocks/fatigue/fitness. but if all 11 are fit enough he will surely start with that team
McBain Posted February 3, 2017 Posted February 3, 2017 We don't win games like this We owe them for Dec 2013 and all that. Or at least we owe ourselves a perfomance
dorgie Posted February 3, 2017 Posted February 3, 2017 Hopefully their heroic efforts at OT on Weds night will have sapped them of every ounce of energy. They'll hold us out for 70 mins and we'll score 2 in the final 20 to win 1-2.
Rory Fitzgerald Posted February 3, 2017 Posted February 3, 2017 We bounced back well away at Boro in December, that's what we need in this game. Take their heart early.
Andy-oh-six Posted February 3, 2017 Posted February 3, 2017 Will nobody think of the goal differenceI was just going to post that this was a great opportunity to get the goal difference up! We need to get the proper front six together again and hope they gel like they did in the autumn. If they do we will win. If we end up having tonnes of the ball and pass it sideways it's going to be another hard slog and we will no doubt gift them a goal or two.
muleskinner Posted February 3, 2017 Posted February 3, 2017 They've sold their best player in snodgrass but that Niasse as s*** as he looks is so unorthodox he could cause problems if our 2 cbs aren't on it.
Tobes Rafa Posted February 3, 2017 Posted February 3, 2017 Sod the goal difference did now. Just get the win and if there's a big swing then bonus. This is going to be tough. They seem a different prospect under new manager but hopefully Jankupovic had his hand of the season on Wed night.
Barnesy_10 Posted February 3, 2017 Posted February 3, 2017 Maguire looks good for them too... Had a good game on Wednesday
Sion Posted February 3, 2017 Posted February 3, 2017 f***ing Tom Huddlestone will probably have his one decent game of the year as per usual and boss our weak CM so I'd be cautious about going Hendo Wijnaldum Lallana
jonnyc Posted February 3, 2017 Posted February 3, 2017 Nah, hendo gini lallana all the way. Play them off the park.
