recommendations for pub back room in Liverpool

I'm back home in May, and the missus reckons we can catch up with a load of people easier if we book a place. Any recommendations for a decent place that would be available on a Friday night that could hold 50-100 people (I'm guessing here)? Town would probably be easiest.

 

Not that arsed about putting food on but, if it's a condition of the hire, I'm ok with it. Actually, I think she is hopeful this may stretch to an early birthday party for her so decent food may be a consideration.
