We've won 5, drawn 4 of our last 10 League games, they're bottom - below even Hull & Sunderland - and have lost 6 of their last 8 conceding 5, 4 twice & 3 three times in those games so expect a 10-0-0 formation.

We're a mirror of each other - we've scored 49 - they've conceded 49, we've conceded 24, they've scored 23.

I'd take any win right now coupled with a good performance

Hopefully we can be 8-0 up after ten minutes to allow us to rest key players for the next game

If we're 8-0 up after 10mins then it will feel like a defeat if we don't win 72-1.

Im budgeting a 5min cameo appearance from Moreno.

72-54 then if you bring Moreno on for 5

Sometimes I don't understand your sense of humour, or 'in jokes'.

Then I realise that I'm way off the mark

Mignolet

Clyne Lovren Klavan Milner

Wijnaldum Henderson Lallana

Someone Firmino Coutinho

Reward TAA and Woodburn with spots on the bench. Perhaps show Sturridge & Origi up by bringing Woodburn on before them.

Move Lallana forward and put Can in and that's it I think. Pretty certain last night's side was derived from that 11.

Prefer to see Lallana in midfield. He's been great from there this season and think we look a better side with him there too. Plus it gets an extra goalscorer on the pitch.

And it means I don't need to watch Can either which is another bonus.

someone said in a previous thread something about getting up a good lead (I think vs Sot'on in the 1L) and then resting players for Chelsea despite a bunch of games inbetween

Someone probably equals Can.

Or goal-machine Lucas.

Possibly Origi, but he's been beyond poor recently.

Or maybe - just maybe - Ojo/Ejaria

We should replace Mané with the player most like him in the squad

Mignolet
Clyne Lovren Klavan Milner
Wijnaldum Henderson Lallana
Ojo Firmino Coutinho

But we won't so probably Origi

I don't think Ojo is as direct as Mané. He tends to slow the ball down and then burst past the defender once he presses him. Mane is much quicker in possession, one of the reasons he is so dangerous I think is that he is so decisive and doesn't give the opposition a chance to regain their shape.

Clement has said that Swansea are probably going to be relegated, need to help that come to fruition. Hopefully we are all over them from the off, they will crumble.

It would be a good game to start Ojo if he's fit enough - means everyone else playing their best position and he needs game time for experience

Play him in a full strength team and let's see what he's made of.  It's always difficult to judge talent in much-changed teams.

Oh ok.

Chelsea on 4th Feb though? The day we play Hull City, you mean?
