Cobs Posted January 12, 2017 Posted January 12, 2017 Mig Clyne Matip Lovren Milner Wijnaldum Hendo Lallana Sturridge Firmino Coutinho
Tommy Cockles Posted January 12, 2017 Posted January 12, 2017 We need to sort our fecking lives out or it's going to be deeply unpleasant. That much I do know.
Gerrardrules Posted January 12, 2017 Posted January 12, 2017 (edited) Not sure if Coutinho is match fit for this but its not really An option not to play him. Edited January 12, 2017 by Gerrardrules

rednotdead Posted January 12, 2017 Posted January 12, 2017 Henderson and Coutinho need to start. Any word at all on Henderson? - concerning that he wasn't even on bench last night.

Stevie H Posted January 12, 2017 Posted January 12, 2017 couple of months ago i'd have been confident as you like about this one, we'd go there and give them a lesson. on current form it's back to one of them old bundle of nerves old trafford visits. manager's got a right job to do here.

Interesting that he tried to change to 3-5-2 last night, I'm of the opinion that a one-off change like that for a big game can galvanise the side. I wouldn't do it if Henderson is fit like.
Molby Posted January 12, 2017 Posted January 12, 2017 would be amazed if Sturridge starts abysmal effort last night, head and shoulders our worst player - and he was already a total misfit in this systemfar worse than Can, who at least tried our only option is to 'confuse them' and we need to stop their wide play
Dan Posted January 12, 2017 Posted January 12, 2017 Klopp is great in big games like this. I'm expecting us to get a result.

Barnesy_10 Posted January 12, 2017 Posted January 12, 2017 just hope its all down to the teams and not some f***ing s***e decision by the ref
Guy_Incognito Posted January 12, 2017 Posted January 12, 2017 Man U are on a good run, but they've not played anyone decent (apart from Spurs, but shh) and it was only a couple of games ago that we beat City (who are better). We'll s*** 'em.
Rory Fitzgerald Posted January 12, 2017 Posted January 12, 2017 Mignolet Clyne Lovren Klavan Milner Can Henderson Wijnaldum Lallana Firmino Coutinho If he can sort midfield out then I think he'd like to go with that attack as he knows exactly what he gets from them in the big games.

Swipe Posted January 12, 2017 Posted January 12, 2017 Mancs seem to be dead confident and cocky about it. Hoping that backfires as it often seems to.

I think he'll want to be aggressive and put pressure on Utd but also to close down and pressure Carrick & Herrera. I think he would feel more confident if he can get that front 3 working together on that job. Probably keeps us a little tighter too in the first half. Its sometimes said about us that "....if you can keep them quiet until 60-70mins, they'll over commit and you can win the game then" - maybe we can do that against Utd, force Mourinho to make some aggressive subs and we keep Sturridge/Origi on the bench for when Coutinho/Henderson have to come off (drop Lallana back to midfield at that stage).
