Sales

I'm considering a sales position after 20 years working in tech, support specifically for the last 10. I know the products and the competition but f*** all about sales other than there's some pipeline and my job would be to turn pipeline opportunities into sales or something. SPIN selling or something is the methodology they advocate for.

 

Anyway has anyone done or is doing sales and any advice for someone thinking of transitioning from tech?
