anyone know anything about cameras?

 

The nipper is 13 & told me yesterday she wants a camera for Christmas. She showed me a Canon T5 on Amazon.

 

I know bugger all about cameras. The missus has a bunch & the nipper loves to use them, so I think she genuinely has an interest in photography.

 

However knowing what kids are like, she'd be bound to prefer an SLR to an automatic even if the auto was better, because of the 'look' of the SLR.

 

Any guidance here appreciated.

 

(Luckily the Canon T5 isn't that expensive, at least over here)
