LED Screen Issue

Just had my moved Sony Bravia KDL40hx853 moved into a new property and although it was totally wrapped in bubble wrap and in it's original box, when I unpacked it and switched it on, there's a very faint band running across the screen about a quarter of the way down.

 

It's only really noticeable when that part of the screen is showing white or light colour, like a sky or a fairly plain screen but it is still rather annoying.

 

Is there anything I can do or is it likely to be permanent damage caused by the commotion of moving or maybe when I was packing it up?

 

It's a bit hard to explain what it looks like and it doesn't look like when individual pixels go.
