Okay okay am not playing fm am I was working with an football agent and he was telling me that you know by 15 whether they will make it (attitude,ability,luck,etc) but I thought I knew some youngsters coming through but I obviously don't according to him.

I'm better at spotting future rugby stars but the best footballer I've seen (and coached) at youth age was Diego Poyet.

 

He's currently without a club, but he'll be back when he sorts things out.

10-15 years ago I could have, used to watch every football match available and play FM. These days I could hardly name 5 non Liverpool U-18s at all.

I took a training session and managed a pre season friendly on the Saturday in both of which David Somma was involved. He stayed with us for a week having trials before getting a contract at Leeds United, scoring lots of goals and getting a cap for South Africa. Then he got badly injured which was a real shame.

 

Edit: just seen it's about U18's oh well........
