slapnuts Posted August 14, 2016 Posted August 14, 2016 Its not me and the Mrs... Or is it....... So anyways a 'friend' of ours has all but spilt up from her fella. They have a house together, they have lived in it together for about ten years. They both put a sizeable chunk into the house from the sales of their old houses and obviously have both invested money etc in it since. Our friend wants him to buy her out, but the fella doesn't want to do that (which he could do). So where legally does she stand with selling the house so she can get her money and move on with her life. Can she force his hand to get her share out? Its sounds to me like this fella is just being a dick and wants her to walk away with nothing. Any advice would be appreciated, obviously she will be going to the solicitors and citizens advice this week. But just wondering if anyone knows...
