First off, RIP.

Secondly, I don't know an awful lot about him and only found out this morning that he owns quite a bit of Liverpool City Centre.

So, what is the local view of him? Just another billionaire who was in it for himself at others expense. Or without him, Liverpool city centre would never have been re-generated and Paradise St area would still be a bus station ? Or somewhere in between?
