There's another thread where people were mentioning Bubble Bobble, which I remember as a kid and taking many moons to get to the final level & complete it - Level 100 - I had a look around & you can download it for free, it's also an app on the iphone for $5.

 

Then Jonesy has a facebook post about Outrun, which I haven't even thought about in donkey's.

 

Most of the nostalgia out there seems to focus on 90s games, ignoring the fact that the 80s ones were better
