I don't know why everybody is not totally excited for this season.

 

We scored goals galore once Klopp got into the swing of things. Despite a Sturridge in and out of the team and Firmino being new to the league. We've added even more of goals and pace with wijnaldum, mane and Ings coming in.

 

Can is growing in to a player on the brink of becoming the best midfielder in the league. Grujic looks like a major talent. And seems to combine the two qualities Klopp is adding: physique and pace. He will be an asset this season.

 

We've added aerial dominance and a new keeper to the back. If we can fix the defence, we fix 70% of our problems. I have every confidence Klopp will stop our mad habit of dropping leads. The improvement in defence is exponential.

 

And we have a manager who gets the best out of players. And makes the team more than the sum of its parts on top of that. He took a meh looking origi from 4th choice and fast tracked him into our top striker in the years to come. He looks to have helped Sturridge past all the niggles. Can has exploded as a player. Lovren has been rehabilitated. And he is only just getting started.

 

This season he has what he bemoaned so much last year. Proper pre season and plenty of training time and prep between games.

 

 

I couldn't care less what the rest is doing. This team is well prepped for making the same kind of improvement rafa made in his second season. With Karius, Lovren, Matip, Can, Grujic, Coutinho, Wijnaldum, Sturridge, Firmino, Mane, Origi we have a group of players who may not be big names right now. But a number of them will be top profiles in the league at the end of this season.

I'll be disappointed if we're not challenging, we've more goals in our squad than anyone else in the league. A lot depends on how Karius and Matip settles and how mental Moreno gets, as well as Sturridge's fitness obviously.

if we keep Sturridge fit and Sane starts banging in the goals we have an outside chance. theres probably 6 or 7 clubs with a shot at  winning it this season
