Driller Killer

I've had two Bosch drills die on me in the last two or three years, one of 'em just last week, so I need a new one and feel like I need to venture in to a wider drill gene pool. Any recommendations? I've been looking specifically at Makitas and Milwaukees but my head's spinning from the range and options.
