with the resurgence of Wales & Northern Ireland - anyone be interested to see this return?

Not in WC or Euro years but every other or maybe once every 4 years. Could be done and dusted inside 10 days at the end of the season - might be better prep (for England) for a summer tournament than they're currently getting.

how can you find it dull - it hasn't happened for 20 years?

Africa would be a faff, lots of unnecessary travel, but a competitive event on our own shores might be worth a go again

They tried to get it going with Ireland, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales a few years back and the attendances were appalling.

Ah yes, fond memories of tartan clad hooligans all over London.

English FA would never go for a revival.

Think you will find it was finally stopped because of tanked up skinheads rampaging through Glasgow. (1989 Rous Cup)

Scotland and England had got rid of the diddy teams by then...... oh how times have changed :tumbleweed:

Ireland, N Ireland, Wales and Scotland tried it a couple of years ago and it failed miserably.

Was attractive in the 60s and 70s, but there's so much football on now, it just won't work.
