Maldini Posted May 27, 2016 Posted May 27, 2016 (edited) I don't think he will, but him going down in flames at United would probably be the only non-LFC event in football that would give me real pleasure. Edited December 18, 2018 by Sir Tokyo Sexwale
Barnesy_10 Posted May 27, 2016 Posted May 27, 2016 I don't think he will, but him going down in flames at United would probably be the only non-LFC event in football that would give me real pleasure.and Everton getting relegated I think he will do well but will be interesting if he uses any of the youth players. Something Van Gaal can get some praise for at least.
Maldini Posted May 27, 2016 Author Posted May 27, 2016 It's not how he has operated in the past but there has been a lot of talk that it's one of the conditions of taking the job. They do have 4 or 5 good prospects there but then he had similar at Chelsea. You have to love the mancs giving it loads about him not being a United man, they'll all be rowing in behind him and loving his bulls*** as soon as he drops some of his "famous charm" at the press conference.
Benitez Posted May 27, 2016 Posted May 27, 2016 If ever there was a manager suited to a team, it's Maurehno and the Mancs, the biggest w***** in football managing the most c*** team with in football, who have the most w***ish fans in football. Perfect match.
Sion Posted May 27, 2016 Posted May 27, 2016 He'll have been guaranteed 200m odd to spend no doubt. He wouldn't risk going there and having to work with their s*** squad.

Cam Posted May 27, 2016 Posted May 27, 2016 (edited) Will get an easy start, probably Hull first game then other relegation fodder, smash them all 4-0, get the fans & media behind him then return to the nasty 1-0s for the rest of the season. However, everyone (other managers, other teams, other fans, their fans, their players, even the media when 'Good Mourinho' stops selling players) now know how to rattle him. He's under a lot more pressure at the Mancs than he ever was at Chelsea and a meltdown at Old Trafford is worth ten times more than one at Stamford Bridge. He'll snap. Edited May 27, 2016 by Cam
Nerik Posted May 27, 2016 Posted May 27, 2016 I love the way many Man U fans are assuming he will be a success. I can see quite a few significant obstacles along his path. A rough start is all he needs and questions will be asked. The man is used to walking into teams about to run away with or seriously challenge for the league. Whilst a possibility. challenging for the league is far from a certainty at Utd.
Benzo-13 Posted May 27, 2016 Posted May 27, 2016 (edited) Bunch of c**** employ a c***.. Could be yesterday's c*** and all. Edited May 27, 2016 by Benzo-13
Ed the Wool Posted May 27, 2016 Posted May 27, 2016 They're on about him tipping up 50m for Stones. He won't get far with 200m spending like that. He's undoubtedly still a monumental c***, and he's now got a load more behind him. Him crashing and burning and taking them with him would be a real treat.
Maldini Posted May 27, 2016 Author Posted May 27, 2016 Their squad is made up of a load of lads with no legs, a load of kids and a few lightweight lads of questionable ability. There are a few big talents in there but he arguably needs a RB, maybe a CB, two or three CMs, two wingers and a centre forward, all more or less for the first XI.

PhilM Posted May 27, 2016 Posted May 27, 2016 If he signs Zlatan, United might achieve some kind of peak gobs***e level.
dorgie Posted May 27, 2016 Posted May 27, 2016 Must restrict SKY viewing to Liverpool games only from now on and avoid SSN for the duration of his time there. Their adoration of both is vomit inducing.

Swipe Posted May 27, 2016 Posted May 27, 2016 He'll get them competing again pretty quickly. It's what he does. He'll probably win silverware. I also fully expect him to be hated and mutually terminated by the end of his three year contract.
growler Posted May 27, 2016 Posted May 27, 2016 This is bad news and to think it's not is naive. They will be up there again and the only solution they have is to bring in someone who can buy success - they've got one of the best at it. They don't care beyond two or three years ahead or the academy - that's the fans. They don't care how they play either - that's the real fans. They will be successful with him and these will be like Real Madrid - just hire a manager to lead the team.
