Just got a confirmation email from LFC, to say they have 2000 new season tickets available.

Unfortunately, I'm not in the top 2000.

After nearly 10 years on the waiting list I'm now storming to the top at number 25,384. More than a full attendance at Valley parade away.

Anyone made it?

I heard they don't give you much time to cough up the dough to buy one when they're finally available. But there's time to save....

to be honest if you're that far down you're likely never getting one. theres generally less than 50 a season handed back

Why didn't we build a new stadium then?

f*** off FSG

I'm at 13500 after 16 years on the list... Can't see me getting one before I retire and I am 38 now..

9 thousand and something, have been on it since it opened I think. Never happening, is it?

To be fair I get to every home game on my Membership Card but there is the ballache of a selling process that you have to go through for that.

I wish I had signed up for my kids that hadn't been born yet at the same time... Prefer going the match with my kids rather than on my own anyway but I guess when u get hold of a season ticket they will have their own kids to worry about and I can just worry about my haemorrhoids

Gave mine up in 1991.  I wrote to the club in 2000 when my son was born, they acknowledged, put me on the waiting list and sent me a letter. That letter is long gone but there are no records.

I do think a few more league titles would have been won if i'd had the season tickets

You sure?

I signed up in 1998 and got one in 2011. Got lucky really as it seems that if I'd left it a year later I'd never have got one.

Also, I thought you had one? Kop205 being your name and that.

Maybe I wasn't then, dunno. Thought I went on it when I was at Uni, so between 94-97. Maybe c**** like you have just leapfrogged me ;)

My old man's seat is in 205 and when I first signed up on here I was using that a fair bit. These days am sat wherever I can get one, don't think there has been a single League game this season where me and my bro have got tickets next to each other.

Unfortunately (for you!) I think there is an element of truth in this. I remember when they offered my batch of season tickers there were a fair few people on social media who thought they'd signed up before my date who hadn't been offered one. Probably because the "list" wasn't the most robust of documents. I've forgotten what it's like to sit next to a mate at the match. Mind you, I think that's the case for the vast majority of match goers now.

It's the f***ers who pass season tickets on that hold the whole thing up... My old next door neighbour had one in someone else's name and the renewal letter used to get sent to him too... The original person was probably dead for all he knew as he had no idea who it was either

Oh wouldn't be at all surprised, at various points they've claimed I'm not on it, then they've found me, it is a f***ing work of fiction.

Doubt I'd be giving it up if it was family to be honest.

Go corporate

S'only £3k a year plus ( a new thing) a kind of £2500 premium that you'll never see again

And you get a buffet

Signed up for two when our lads where youngsters, 10,473 and 10,474 on the list at present. Both of the lads are nearly 30, madness, I'll be long gone by the time the season tickets come good.

We've missed out by a whisker but by all accounts we were so close will be almost in top slot in the queue for 2017/18.

F*ck off FSG.

See the lads in stadium forum swear blind there aren't the numbers to warrant extending Anfield. You've got Ayre and FSG talking about a 'sweet spot'. It's patently balls but it's all about the cash isn't it. Why plan for 20-30 years when you can cash in big style after 5 or 10.

I'll let Molby finish off with his customary flourish.

We were 136 on the list after the 200 seats in the new stand and still didn't get there. Dead man's shoes desn't go close.

They're still trying to flog the more expensive seat plus food packages. Wonder what they'll do with the seats if they remain unsold? Leave them empty or wake up to the fact that the fan base doesn't have an endless supply of cash?
