Sir Tokyo Sexwale Posted March 28, 2016 Posted March 28, 2016 balls to all of this international friendly s***e. Let's talk about real footy.... A tough game this, Leicester play Sunday so we could help them along massively here. A big game the following Thurs for us away mind vs Dortmund, so how's he going to play this one then?

Saturday late kick off to Thursday is decent time to recover.
Alonso Posted March 28, 2016 Posted March 28, 2016 Seems sturridge and Milner are playing tomorrow for England whilst the spurs lads will probably all get a rest having played Saturday. Will sturridge be able to play Tuesday, Saturday, Thursday without picking up any problems?
David Hodgson Posted March 28, 2016 Posted March 28, 2016 Sturridge hasn't played for 9 days, he needs a game.
Sir Tokyo Sexwale Posted March 28, 2016 Author Posted March 28, 2016 would prefer that game not to be under the watchful eye of RFH
Molby Posted March 28, 2016 Posted March 28, 2016 All that counts is trying to manage full fitness for Dortmund Need to stop this CL qualification pantomime - need every ounce of potential advantage focused on Dortmund
growler Posted March 29, 2016 Posted March 29, 2016 We also need European footy next season. Keep winning. Players should be playing for their future.
David Hodgson Posted March 29, 2016 Posted March 29, 2016 All that counts is trying to manage full fitness for DortmundNeed to stop this CL qualification pantomime - need every ounce of potential advantage focused on DortmundI don't entirely agree. You keep going until the thing is mathematically no longer a thing. Having said that, Dortmund is hugely the priority now. Given the international break that causes no compromises for selection vs Spurs. You want the team for Dortmund out against them. It's the game between the Dortmund games (Stoke) that becomes an issue.
Stanley Leisure Posted March 29, 2016 Posted March 29, 2016 What happens if the winners of the Europa Cup qualify for the CL in their domestic league? Do the runners up get in?
Guy_Incognito Posted March 29, 2016 Posted March 29, 2016 I've not seen much of Spurs this season, but it's gonna be difficult this, isn't it?
Red2Core Posted March 29, 2016 Posted March 29, 2016 f*** this let these cockney barrow boys worry about us...We are Liverpool, tra la la la la,We are Liverpool, tra la la la la la,We are Liverpool, tra la la la la,
PhilM Posted March 29, 2016 Posted March 29, 2016 Kane and Dele Ali will have fun with Skrtel Hopefully the only fun that Skrtel has is on the bench.

Conrad Posted March 29, 2016 Posted March 29, 2016 the team selection for spurs should be guided by dortmund
smithdown Posted March 29, 2016 Posted March 29, 2016 yes because footy is fun..... and fans, pride, etc but as a cliche, I'm not a fan and the context is that there is no evidence of our settling down to any consistency and there are several teams ahead of usin fact, had I followed my own advice over the years, I wouldn't have had to resort to the slowies so oftenSouthampton damaged my confidence cos I thought Klopp had broken out of this hodgsonesque 'win one draw one lose one' pattern but we are back on it again I think at 9-9-9, pretty sure we were 8-8-8 going into the manc games, so on that basis I'm expecting that to be our limit this season so how we can squeeze a UEFA Cup win out of that pattern I don't know but maybe just maybe we can. I would therefore take the loss against Spurs, win at Dortmund and draw v Stoke and then go again.
D.Boon Posted March 29, 2016 Posted March 29, 2016 There would be a lovely irony in us going strong against Spurs and Dortmund and getting the results.
Molby Posted March 29, 2016 Posted March 29, 2016 There would be a lovely irony in us going strong against Spurs and Dortmund and getting the results.what would be the irony?
D.Boon Posted March 29, 2016 Posted March 29, 2016 what would be the irony? They rested against Dortmund to concentrate on winning the league and got dicked. If we beat them the leagues gone for them, we then dick Dortmund.
McBain Posted March 29, 2016 Posted March 29, 2016 Resting anyone would be silly. Win this and we're in great shape for Thursday.
Molby Posted March 29, 2016 Posted March 29, 2016 They rested against Dortmund to concentrate on winning the league and got dicked. If we beat them the leagues gone for them, we then dick Dortmund.it's a convoluted irony are you sure it isn't 'just a bunch of stuff that might happen?'
Sir Tokyo Sexwale Posted March 29, 2016 Author Posted March 29, 2016 yer ma's a bunch of stuff etc....
