By sheer coincidence I'm in Pasadena on the 27th but my train leaves at 12 noon and then I'm in Santa Clara on the 30th but I have a hair appointment at kick-off time. Ah well.

Klopp's going to f*ck these tours off isn't he?

I don't think he has a choice! It's a huge thing these days, and with more US owners of teams, can't see it changing.  He's been heavily involved in all the arrangements for the team on this trip though.

It'd be great it if he could fec off any trips to Australia or the far east. Not that the west coast is exactly close, but better than some trips these teams do.

We have far more supporters over there than in the USA

And we came second after one trip to Aus - the location doesn't effect our form for the forthcoming season. The tours are huge now for the club, they are here to stay.

Wenger never wanted to come to Aus with Arsenal, and he had to give in, they are coming in 2017.

and they aren't going to stop supporting if the team don't go there.

Pretty sure Kloppo made some comment a couple months ago that wasnt exactly positive about the trip Liverpool made last year, and how it affected pre-season training.

Never liked these ridiculous long trips, even ones to the US where I am now, I would happily see them fec 'em off.

I don't know about that. I've personally visited several supporter's club viewing spots in various cities throughout the States.

I'll go watch em if they do training at Harvard like previous tours.Would be kinda surprised if they don't play a game in Boston.

They won't do that this time. I think they'll be centered at UCLA or USC.

Maybe we'd have won the league if we hadn't travelled so far pre-season.

there's a cross-thread correlation-causation meltdown happening today

I thought the venue for the Barca game hadn't been anmnounced yet.

Would be a shame if it was in Dublin. I fancy going - would be great if it was somewhere a bit more exotic than Dublin, to be honest.
